Competition studio

A parallel strand for problem solvers

Competition work runs alongside the main courses and is never required before Calculus. Selected Loney trigonometry and geometry supports it, but does not replace these four strands.
Planned

Stages

  1. Stage 1

    Junior reasoning

Careful reading, small cases and explaining why an answer must be right.

  2. Stage 2

    Intermediate problem solving

Contest-style problems that reward strategy over memorised technique.

  3. Stage 3

    Advanced short answer

Harder problems with exact answers and multiple solution routes.

  4. Stage 4

    Proof and Olympiad seminar

Written proofs, counterexamples and partial-credit feedback.
